Kesselaar began as an agricultural business and has increasingly focused on the cultivation of onions and gladioli since 1975. Today, Kesselaar specializes entirely in the cultivation, storage, and processing of onion sets, onions, and gladioli.
In recent years, significant investments have been made in new buildings, packaging machines, and other equipment to improve sorting and delivery efficiency. The storage facility is equipped with modern storage technology and continuous temperature and humidity monitoring, allowing for precise control of the storage process and improving the quality of the onion sets.

For its onion set cultivation, Kesselaar uses plots in Zeeland, France, and other suitable growing areas. By spreading the production across multiple regions, risk is minimized and supply remains stable, even in changing weather conditions. This allows Kesselaar to deliver reliably, season after season.
