Red onion sets must not only grow well, but also have a beautiful color and a firm bulb. At Kesselaar BV, we therefore pay extra attention to uniformity, health, and consistent quality throughout the batch. We make deliberate choices in varieties and growing locations, with attention to cropping history and disease risks. Thanks to cooperation with regular growing partners and spreading across regions, we limit the chance of problems and keep supply stable. After the harvest, the onion sets are carefully stored and sorted. This way, we deliver red onion sets with a strong base, good shelf life, and a neat, deep color.
