Kesselaar BV started as an agricultural company and since 1975 has increasingly focused on the cultivation of onions and gladioli. Today, Kesselaar BV is fully specialized in the cultivation, storage, and processing of first-year onion sets, onions, and gladioli.

In recent years, significant investments have been made in new buildings, packaging machines, and other equipment to make sorting and delivery more efficient. The storage facility is equipped with modern storage technology with continuous temperature and humidity monitoring, allowing the storage process to be precisely controlled and improving the quality of the onion sets.

From cultivation to export

Kesselaar BV grows onion sets, onions, and gladioli under its own management, with a focus on quality and uniformity. From variety selection and soil preparation to crop care and harvest: every step is carefully monitored to achieve a strong and healthy product.

For the cultivation of onion sets, Kesselaar BV works with plots in Zeeland, Belgium, and other suitable growing areas. Spreading across multiple regions limits risk and keeps supply stable, even under changing weather conditions. This allows Kesselaar to deliver reliably, season after season.
